Issue d’un partenariat public privé entre ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP) et la République Béninoise, GDIZ est la première Zone Industrielle Intégrée du Bénin. s’étendant sur 1640 Ha. ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP) est une entreprise experte en développement de zones industrielles et leurs écosystèmes dédiés.

L’ambition de la GDIZ est de contribuer à l’industrialisation du Bénin en favorisant la transformation locale des richesses naturelles béninoises (coton, noix de cajou, ananas…) et ainsi maximiser leur potentiel économique. GDIZ a pour objectif la création d’un écosystème vertueux afin de favoriser l’émergence d’entreprises locales, la création d’emplois ainsi que les Investissements Directs Etrangers (IDE) au Bénin.

Poste 1 : Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Intern

Key Accountabilities

Update and archive of physical and digital files/folders;
Stock management (PPE and others);
Make the monthly monitoring (reporting on resources consumption, waste, etc.;
Participate in (self)audits/investigations to identify non-conformities and to facilitate gaps closure;
Participate in identifying hazards and environmental aspects, analysis and assess risk of activities;
Provide support for the Health, Safety and Environment Team to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with government regulations and company procedures;
Participate in HSE meetings: schedule and prepare various internal and external Health, Safety and Environment meetings, including preparing reports and presentations; Participate in any other HSE activities that may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, safety management, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, risk management or related field
2-3 years of proven experience in Environment, Safety, and Health fields or industrial fields
Have worked within an international environment would be an asset
Proficiency in MS Office with ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs, software, and system
Exceptional time-management and ability to work under pressure
Good oral and written French and English skills
Great interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Dynamic with ability to analyze and summarize Advanced multitask ability and Team-oriented mindset Friendly and professional demeanor.

Poste 2 :  Internal Control System (ICS) Coordinator

Key Accountabilities 

Coordinate all farmers, farms, crops, rerated activities on ground within the assigned area.
Develop better planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques, improving crop yield
Promote agricultural strategies to counter the effects of changes in soil, climate, weather
Visit fields to collect seed, plant, and soil samples, and test samples
Monitor agricultural production
Ensure the administrative follow-up of his zone staff, then recruit, train and supervise the agricultural technicians
Maintain relationships with all the stakeholders (farmers, cooperatives, etc.) involved in the business.
Keep update detailed records regarding fields, customers, crops, and samples Make report data to management.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Bac+3 in the rural, agricultural, agronomy field, or equivalent.
3 to 5 years of confirmed experience in the agricultural, rural field or as an agricultural engineer
Good knowledge of soil, plants, seeds, and effective and efficient agricultural practices
Problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
Exceptional time management and ability to work under pressure
Advanced multi-tasking skills and team player
Good oral and written skills in French and English
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate
Ability to become familiar with company specific programs, software, and systems

Poste 3 : Junior Electrical Engineer

Key Accountabilities
Follow-up of the installation, maintenance and monitoring of electrical equipment and installations within the GDIZ
Guarantee the safety of people and traffic,
Promote the development of operational teams,
Take part in the framing of workload plans,
Ensure the follow-up, organization and control of the execution of the work
Participate in projects such as the organization of work sites: development, regeneration, rehabilitation or replacement of infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications
Holder of a Bac+4/5 degree in electricity/electrotechnics with a minimum of 3/5 years’ experience in works and maintenance works.
Have worked within an international environment would be an asset
Dynamic with ability to analyze and summarize Responsible and able to organize and lead a team
Experience in Line and Substation would be a plus.

Poste 4 : Procurement & Contract assistant

Make final Comparative Statement and Note For Approval. Put for management approval. After approval prepare Work Order & contracts.
Raise PR/PO request.
Invoice verifications. Timely Payment processing.
Payment follow-up & sharing payment swift to vendors.
Follow up for delivery.
Co-ordinate with logistics team.
Timely settlement of advances.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or any equivalent diploma with 3 years’ experience
Proficiency in MS Office with ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs, software, and system
Have worked within an international environment would be on assest

Poste 5 : Data Coordinator

Comply with data integrity and security policies
Retrieve data from database or electronic files on demand.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or graduate diploma (Bac+2) in secretarial office, administration or equivalent
Proven experience as a data entry operator (minimum 1 year)
Basic knowledge of databases and the front desk
Fast typing skills
Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools (MS Office Word, Excel etc.) with ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs, software, and system
Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware and peripherals
Good knowledge of spreadsheets and online forms
