About the Role:
You are an an experienced Director comfortable leading a large team. As a Program Director in Mali, you’ll lead the Sales team which educates farmers about our mobile savings program and the agricultural products available for delivery each season. You will translate country sales strategies into detailed achievable plans for field sales team and our call center. You’ll look for ways to improve our sales effectiveness and encourage great customer service.
You Will:
- Achieve the sales goals for Mali through planning and leading a motivated and focused team.
- Use data to target marketing activities and build impactful plans to ensure sales goals are achieved.
- Plan channel strategies to ensure the call center and the field sales team are working together.
- Coach team members to maximise their sales performance. Accelerate development of our strongest performers.
- Form part of the Mali management team and work with other country teams and the regional teams in development of new projects.
- Promote continuous improvements to facilitate team output and improved customer service.
You Have:
- 3 or more years experience leading large field teams to achieve sales targets or similar metrics
- Data-driven approach to management
- Skills in building and motivating a team
- Eager to get mud on your boots. You look forward to going to the field often and sell side by side with the field team
- Experience with mobile money agent networks, commission-based sales networks, or rural sales networks
