Poste 1 : Electrical Engineer

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Provide adequate maintenance support to the sections operations with an objective of preventing downtime and ensuring steady and optimal availability of equipment to meet set performance targets.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES·

  • Receive assigned maintenance schedule and request for spares needed to effect repairs from stores ·
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance or called unplanned maintenance and report machine availability outcome to Section Head and update history ·
  • Document maintenance history of all plants & equipment and report materials consumption, tools, man hours & skills utilized to Senior Engineer & Section Head ·
  • Document maintenance activity report for the attention of the Senior Engineer (or Section Head as the case may be).
  • Perform trend analysis of shift reports and determine machine’s post -maintenance performance.
  • Track and compare performance of repaired machine against planned target.
  • Carry out on-the-job training for technicians.

Poste 2 : Electrical Foreman (Junior Engineer)

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Perform routine maintenance which includes but is not limited to the following: fault analysis, component replacements, alignments and calibration, repairs, installation of new control circuits, modification of existing instrument/electrical systems as requested.

.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop or modify industrial devices, circuits, or equipment, according to available specifications.
  • Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems.
  • Calibrate testing equipment instruments and install or repair equipment to prescribe specifications.
  • Maintain equipment logs that record performance.
  • Inform hierarchy of spare consumption and initiate order request.
  • Attending day to day problems if any and to support shift electricians.
  • Monitoring healthiness of all the running equipment.
  • Repair of equipment at workshop to their respective section.
  • To give timely intimation to their superiors regarding spares requirements.
  • Ensure Safety of Personnel and equipment.
  • Housekeeping at their respective sections.
  • To take care of other sections during absence that Foreman.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the hierarchy.

Requirements

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.

SKILLS & COMPETENCE

  • Good practical and technical skills
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and principles

Poste 3 : Head Francophone Shared Services Center

Description

Job Summary

  • The Head of Francophone Shared Services Centre (FSSC) is responsible for providing a coordinated corporate support function to Headquarters and decentralized offices and their staff, for accounting and tax transactional processes including invoice processing, vendor management, fixed assets, monthly Group reporting (IFRS), and annual statutory accounts (SYSCOHADA) and audits, and the managing and payment of tax declarations.
  • He or she consolidates accounting and tax functions for all non-manufacturing Africa subsidiaries to deliver them in a cost-effective manner, promoting operational efficiencies and service improvements

Responsibilities

    • Supervises staff, oversees the delivery of multi-disciplinary programs, policies, and services and prepares a variety of reports and proposals
    • Oversees service delivery and the day-to-day operations of the FSSC, ensuring that all standards are met, and procedures are followed. Establishes priorities and schedules of main activities
    • Reviews and monitors FSSC-related services to identify trends and problem areas, reporting on risks, key performance indicators and proposed corrective action or new approaches
    • Develops and implements new work methods and procedures of the FSSC; recommends procedural changes to improve FSSC efficiency and ensures appropriate implementation of decisions made by Senior Management
    • Prepares and monitors the FSSC budget
    • Plans and monitors staffing overseeing recruitment and any other administrative functions related to the smooth functioning of the FSSC
    • Supervises staff, managing performance, staff development, training and careers
    • Oversees and ensures the smooth functioning of information systems required to deliver the services and the definition and implementation of changes required to maintain the systems operational and fit for purpose. Supports system deployment activities to ensure smooth adoption by clients of the FSSC
    • Defines and ensures the implementation of Service Level Agreements; sets standards for quality and ensures that operational activities are implemented in accordance with recognized procedures and guidelines and meet the established standards
    • Establishes quality control mechanisms such as client surveys, periodic data quality assurance reviews, error escalation procedures
    • Plans and develops FSSC communication strategy and capacity development; develops procedures and guidelines for use by the FSSC customers in order to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency and accountability and to sustain and increase public awareness of FSSC core activities
    • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with functional persons at HQ and with the client subsidiaries, liaising on issues in the implementation of established policies and escalating to policy owners any issue requiring policy related decisions
    • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

Educational and Work Experience

  • Advanced University degree in Business Administration and/or Management, Human Resources, Finance or other related field – must be a qualified Accountant, preferably ‘Experte Comptable’
  • Ten years of relevant experience in coordinating, leading and/or managing operations and administrative activities
  • Good working knowledge of English and French and of IFRS and SYSCOHADA
