Une mission diplomatique est un groupe de personnes d’un État ou d’une organisation intergouvernementale internationale (telle que les Nations Unies) présentes dans un autre État pour représenter officiellement l’État/l’organisation d’envoi dans l’État d’accueil. En pratique, une mission diplomatique désigne généralement la rési mission de dent, à savoir le bureau des représentants diplomatiques d’un pays dans la capitale d’un autre pays. En plus d’être une mission diplomatique auprès du pays dans lequel elle est située, il peut également s’agir d’une mission permanente non résidente auprès d’un ou de plusieurs autres pays. Il existe ainsi des ambassades résidentes et non résidentes.

Duties

The incumbent acts as Human Resources Clerk responsible for data input in Post Personnel System, typing letters and official documentation for employees, photocopying, and handling the office filing system and supply cabinet, and assisting the Human Resources Management Specialist in the preparation of the Mission Awards Program. Position is supervised by the Human Resources Specialist.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:  One year of progressively responsible clerical experience, using basic office procedures is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Good working knowledge of pertinent personnel regulations associated with international agencies and working procedures and a working knowledge of local labor laws, etc. Knowledge of processing medical claims, insurance cards, and calculating reimbursements.

Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary school is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:

English: Good Working Knowledge – Good vocabulary and understanding of grammar and able to construct sentences. Able to use English as part of normal work duties including having conversations with customers and answer questions.

This may be tested.

French and Bambara: Fluent – Able to use the language fluently and accurately, making only minor errors of pronunciation and grammar.  Able to conduct all work in French and Bambara.  Almost as proficient in French and Bambara as in your native language.

This may be tested.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good working knowledge of MS Office: SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs. Discretion about personnel matters, and tactfulness. Good numerical skills are required for Time & Attendance, and to calculate medical reimbursements; must be able to review claims for accuracy and fraud.
