L’organisation recrute pour poste de Consultant, ASAP Communication Specialist.

Summary of Job

ASAP is seeking qualified applicants for a Consultant Communications Specialist. The Consultant will help to produce and distribute donor and technical reports on ASAP’s capacity building support to local implementing partners and support and coordinate technical guidance to Local Implementing Partners (LIPs) in Cote d’Ivoire, as they develop and implement communication and documentation strategies.

Scope of Work

Specifically, the Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks;

  • Compile information from a variety of sources and develop top quality material for distribution.
  • Focus on the strategic planning, production, and distribution of communications as well as develop creative content for print, web, and social media.
  • Support communications projects where assigned, including content format and placement, contribute towards the project lifecycle, and take responsibility for meeting objectives and deadlines.

 

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience or a master’s degree plus two years of experience in Communications or related fields
  • Two years of experience with USAID/Global Health and PEPFAR and knowledge of the USAID/GH community
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in writing donor reports, PowerPoint presentations, with an understanding of multimedia content forms (e.g., graphics, video, audio, etc.)
  • Ability to assist in the planning and management of projects, collaborate with others to ensure that key projects are completed, and organizational objectives are met in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with intranet design; content and graphic posting, and email newsletter publishing platforms such as MailChimp, Bananatag, etc.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design production techniques. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programs including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Proficient with SharePoint as a Content Management System (CMS) and Office 365 applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Skype and Microsoft Teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the country as needed
  • Oral and written English and French languages required, additional knowledge of recognized local languages preferred
  • Must be a Cote d’Ivoire resident
