The Project:
The Grant Management System (GMS) was developed by Search in 2019 -2020, with the aim to strengthen knowledge management across the organization. Leveraging the Salesforce platform, the GMS supports information sharing, data management, and learning across hundreds of Searchers. It includes a strong MEL component, including capturing log-frames, indicators with baseline and endline values, and learning for each of the grants that Search manages.

The consultancy will include a strong component of training and coaching of country offices and working hand in hand with them to support data entry and analysis/review so that they develop ownership of the process. Based on this component, the consultant will develop learning products linked to data reported on the GMS, as well as produce guidance documents on best practices on data entry, data management, and engagement as well as capacity building of teams.

Deliverables:

    • Detailed and regular reports on progress and quality of MEAL data entered on the GMS for each of our country teams to support 100% of compliance by the end of the consultancy.
    • GMS coaching and training for country staff across the organization based on the progress reports and specific needs to empower them to become champions of the system.
    • Three learning products linked to data reported on the GMS, in line with Search’s Global Impact Framework, to set standards on how data can be leveraged for learning and program quality moving forward.
    • Guidance document on how to sustain consistency in the use of the GMS and quality of the data entered. The document should include best practices on data entry, data management, and engagement as well as capacity building of teams, so that it can be incorporated in ILT planning and standards moving forward.
