About the Role :

We’re looking for a HR Manager who will execute people strategy and deliver processes that support a productive workplace and the achievement of business objectives. You will serve as the day-to-day contact for employees and managers on a wide range of people related matters and strive to provide great support and a seamless and positive employee experience. Key Areas of Responsibility :

  • Execute and champion HR initiatives (policies, programs, processes) that effectively support Pulse’s mission, vision, values, and business goals ;
  • Manage the recruitment process including sourcing, reviewing applications, assessing candidates’ abilities through selection tests, interviewing, reference checks, all the way through to successful candidate placement ;
  • Manage employee life cycle processes from onboarding (entry) to offboarding (exit), ensuring excellence and accountability in your performance and delivery at all stages, and a seamless and positive employee experience throughout ;
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring contracts and other documents, leave balances, benefits such as health and life insurance, pension, NHF, salary and all other information, are always up to date and accurate ;
  • Manage employee relations by providing advice and guidance on company policies and processes, performance management, talent management, conflict resolution, disciplinary issues, etc – supporting both employees and line managers by mediating, investigating and helping to resolve issues ;
  • Provide input to employee engagement, motivation and wellbeing initiatives – finding ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention ;
  • Ensure employees are taking advantage of learning and development resources available and assist in developing and implementing training initiatives ;
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully to all team members and maintain strong, trusting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders ;
  • Track and analyse people data to identify gaps and inefficiencies, provide improvement recommendations and implement required changes ;
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of local legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance ;
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices ;
  • Provide other administrative support as required.

Desired Skills & Experience :

  • A good understanding of all areas of HR, with a minimum of 1 year professional and practical experience ;
  • Experience driving key people initiatives and processes (performance management, benefits management, employee relations/conflict resolution, etc) ;
  • Experience using Google Workspace – especially Google Sheets and Docs ;
  • Highly organised and able to work in a structured way ;
  • Excellent communication and people skills ;
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills ;
  • Must be able to think creatively, be resourceful, proactive and solution-oriented ;
  • A clear understanding of local labor laws ;
  • CIPM membership or other professional certification in HR is a plus!
