POSTE 1 : Analyst Risk & Controls

We are looking for an Analyst Risk & Controls who will work in Dakar and be responsible for providing support and advisory to business functions in establishing controls with a digital mindset.
This role will be a member of a global Risk & Controls team with opportunities to participate in projects at local/regional/global level which can bring international exposure and career opportunities.

Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are:

• In collaboration with local Project Management Office and business process owners, participate annual & continuous integrated risk assessment and develop action plans to manage risk in line with business objectives and risk appetite.

• Provide advisory to business process owners to establish end-to-end process flow for key business projects, evaluate key risks, and design smart controls by leveraging as much as possible on technology for automation; defining clear control owners / accountabilities and documentation.

• Participate in audits of the end-to-end processes using risk-based approach, independently and holistically assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls over the business process.

• Provide guidance to business process owners to continuously assess the existing control effectiveness and seek opportunities to automate controls where possible.

• Provide controls advisory and support for global / regional scale projects where needed.

You:
• Hold a university degree
• Have at least 2+ years of experience in of risk management / consultancy / process design in a multinational company.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
• Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and planning skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to established timeframes.
• Able to engage, challenge and influence employees at all levels in the organization.

• Have strong understanding of operational/ financial / compliance / IT controls, IT literacy and are digital savvy
• Have experience on control environment in manufacturing and commercial processes (B2B and B2C) including digital solutions design and implementation
• Experience in SOX 404, working with Shared Service Center and third-party managed outsourced processes is an asset.

POSTE 2 : Continuous Improvement Trainee

The opportunity

Philip Morris Manufacturing Senegal is seeking a Continuous Improvement Trainee who will join the OPEN+ Team

As Continuous Improvement Trainee, you will team up with the Manager OPEN+ to :

• Promote and apply PMI EHSS roles and take necessary actions for improvement (Avoid incidents, reduce negative environmental impact, enhance safety culture).

• Contribute to the application and deployment of OPEN+ within the factory with the support of OPEN+ Manager.

• Support the affiliate to establish and sustain an integrated operating system (IOS). Assess the organization and processes to develop efficient and effective OPEN+ plans in the affiliate.

• Monitor and regularly communicate the impact of open+ deployment on capacity building progress and performances.

• Work closely with the OPEN+ communication representative to develop and implement a communication strategy within the factory. Improvement visual management across the site.

• Work closely with Focused Improvement pillar to implement 5S within the site

• Ensure sustainable knowledge sharing on continuous improvement tools and methods, standard work processes, daily management systems and pillars according to the global standards. Coordinate training activities in the affiliate related to OPEN+ deployment.

• Create value by systematically adopting and improving PMI/region/affiliate best practices (standardized).

Skills & Competences

• Engineer/Master’s degree with knowledge on continuous improvement/Lean Manufacturing
• Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken)
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated leadership, result orientation, accountability, self-motivation
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal collaboration skills
• Demonstrated Presentation and Time management skills
• Experienced in Problem Solving in the production area
• Effective priority setting skills
