-The Gabon Finance LnS Officer is a key member of the Gabon Finance Team and a key player in influencing the country finance and business priorities related to LnS activities, based on financial insight and expertise.
-Influencing the LnS business priorities of the country, based on financial insight and expertise.
-Partnering with the business to improve LnS profitability through analytical work that triggers questions and constructively challenge status quo.
-Ensuring that country LnS result and performance measures are done on the relevant financial information “one set of numbers”, and act to correct reporting quality of operational cost and revenue where necessary (finance data steward).
-Influencing the LnS business priorities of the country, based on financial insight and expertise.
-Partnering with the business to improve LnS profitability through analytical work that triggers questions and constructively challenge status quo.
-Ensuring that country LnS result and performance measures are done on the relevant financial information “one set of numbers”, and act to correct reporting quality of operational cost and revenue where necessary (finance data steward).
Key responsibilities
-Validate financial impact of LnS business decisions (e.g. accounting impact, cash flow impact, profitability, financial risk and tax exposure).
-Monitoring of LnS cost and ensure profit margin get reflected on each shipment.
-Perform the daily cash collection reconciliation with the teller implant.
-Following the control framework set by Centre Finance, ensuring that control activities are properly executed in the LnS processes (incl. fraud awareness) and ensuring feedback to local and Area. management team on control deficiencies in local control environment
-Ensure efficient reconciliation of LnS revenue customers invoices and vendors costs invoices in required systems/platforms, in compliance with the policies, procedures and controls.
-Is responsible for controlling the LnS Costs and contributing to the LnS cost control Initiatives.
-Support Finance Office Payables and GSC RTP in follow up of LnS workflows.
-Be the contact point with LnS vendors for queries, statements of accounts for reconciliations, monitoring of update of internal master data with accurate information.

We are looking for
-Minimum Bachelor in Finance , Accountancy , Audit ( certifications would be a plus).
-Possess high degree of analytical skills and can combine strategy and financial insight.
-Commercial acumen to understand and challenge numbers based on business agenda.
-A minimum of 2 years of working experience within Finance or Cost Control organization.
-Experienced in working closely with offshore teams in service centres.
-Conversational level in English.
