Poste 1 : Senior Manager Human Resources Operations

Mission

Responsible to create value for the business through efficient, effective and customer oriented HR services to the business through implementation of a unique employer value proposition, Administrative and Employee care services.

Responsablités opérationnelles

Support HR strategy definition and implementation

  • Participate in the definition of the HR strategy in alignment with Business orientations and objectives;
  • Translate HR strategy into tactical implementation plans and drive effective execution;
  • Define operational policy, process, procedures and ensure their compliance with local legal requirements;
  • Ensure continuously HR compliance with all policies, regulations and requirements and establish and support process for maintaining HR policies globally;
  • Identify and mitigate proactively Risks related to HR Operations activities

Drive Employee Services activities

  • Ensure administrative excellence through deployed systems
  • Oversee the implementation of a competent HR services channel
  • Define, track and analyze HR operations metrics and establish goals and KPIs to monitor and improve HR services performance;
  • Oversee the maintenance of workforce data: guarantee quality HR data input and compliant record keeping
  • Monitor generation of workforce reports
  • Analyse returns on investments, supports decisions through data analysis, and creates strong business cases for HR initiatives.
  • Provide channels for employees to complete HR transactions
  • Ensure administrative support is provided to the HR Business Partner Network
  • Define and Implement effective activities to enhance and build employer-employee relationships
  • Define, Implement and manage employee communication and feedback mechanisms
  • Ensure Group periodical surveys Data readiness
  • Drive ad hoc and relevant employee services projects definition and implementation in close collaboration with Corporate services that will have impact on employee engagement level
  • Ensure the timely preparation of HR operations reports (quarterly reports; monthly reports etc.)
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with the pension and welfare fund, and insurance companies, etc.;
  • Leverages economies of scale and drives low cost HR transaction processing.

Drive Employee Relations activities

  • Ensure implementation of ER policy and employee engagement strategy and process based on local labour laws
  • Highlight any potential ER issues and seek proactive resolution of these
  • Manage relationship with trade unions
  • Consult with relevant parties (internal or external) on matters of policy and/or law in force prior to and during all negotiations;
  • Conduct social dialogue and negotiate with employee representative bodies (unions, works council …) in order to reconcile company’s objectives with employees’ satisfaction;
  • Represent management in all relations with employee organizations, including contract negotiations
  • Provide advice and guidance on all issues relating to employee relations matters
  • Oversee the development of grievance and disciplinary process reports
  • Guarantee fair and equitable treatment of employees in disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Advise managers; supervisors and employees on employee grievance processes
  • Manage individual employee relations cases from incident report through to final deposition

Health and Safety

  • Ensure respect for the implementation of social rules in workplace health matters
  • Ensure the proper execution of all actions of health and wellness at work

HR Business Partnering Network

  • Facilitate proactive HR partnering with the businesses
  • Oversee HR strategies implementation into the business to respond to changing needs
  • Interpret HR policies for the business and ensure shared understanding across HR and the business
  • Guarantee a high level satisfaction of HR clients, through an efficient request handling management process
  • Oversee and ensure excellent execution of processes related to the whole employee life cycle (from hiring to exit management) in accordance with MTN Value Proposition, policies, procedures, the law in force and the defined budget
  • Define, track and analyze metrics and establish goals and KPIs to monitor and improve HR partner network performance;
  • Ensure Proactive identification of HR issues before they impact the business
  • Define and agree on SLAs with HR COEs to guarantee fruitful collaboration and HR services excellence
  • Oversee administrative services deliveries to employees and guarantee proper maintenance, integrity and privacy of records covering all the employee lifecycle (from hiring to exit, medical records etc.) while ensuring compliance with all legal obligations related;
  • Ensure ad hoc and/or Group periodical surveys on the social climate (GCA, etc.) are implemented;
  • Drive the support to business for the definition and development of actions plans that effectively address the matters raised after survey results and follow up on implementation;

Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure staff motivation is high
  • Ensure skill transfer for staff development, motivation and business continuity
  • Ensure the team is led, motivated and rewarded to achieve high performance areas
  • Guide and direct suppliers and third parties in achieving Opco objectives
  • Identify staff training and development needs and implement necessary actions
  • Manage team (including recruitment, on-boarding, attrition)
  • Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress and maintain motivation
  • Set up appropriate structure to meet departmental management objectives
  • Provide an advisory function on governance and best practices in client experience

 

Diplome
  • Minimum of 4 years in Human Resources, Labor Law, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent
  • Fluent in both English and French

 

Expérience Professionnelle
  • HR Manager track record of 8 years or more; with at least 5 years in managing team in a relevant sector/ industry
  • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous

Poste 2 : Manager Organization Design & Performance

Mission

The role provides strategic direction for the human resources component of the overall management of the company, in its long-term effort to improve MTN CI’s planning, empowerment, development and problem-solving processes. The purpose of the function is to align individual, divisions and company practices and to manage and facilitate change throughout the organization via internal consulting.

Also responsible for the implementation of Performance Management strategies and processes across the company, in order to support the achievement of company’s objectives to be a high performing organization and a great place to work.

 

Responsablités opérationnelles

Organization Design

  • Designs and maintains the rules for the organizational structure creation, review
  • Designs and maintains the rules for the span of control in different business units
  • Conducts adhoc audits of the organizational structure and recommends changes to make the organization more efficient
  • Facilitates the processes of the organizational structure review and related new job position creation
  • Execute and maintains the methodology for the job creation and the job evaluation
  • Audits the business units as the potential changes of job descriptions are identified
  • Evaluates new job descriptions and puts them into the job matrix
  • Checks the consistency of job descriptions with internal policies and procedures
  • Designs the job creation training for managers and HR Business Partners
  • Cooperates with C&B Specialist on the grading of job positions and assigning the correct optimum salary
