Assurer le transport des personnes et des marchandises vers et depuis le champ des programmes ou des projets. = 60

 

Est-ce qu’un transport demande l’officier de flotte = 5

 

Maintenir le véhicule propre tous les jours = 20 %

 

Assurez-vous que chaque véhicule a tous les documents à bord en place. :Un

 

Faire la demande de pièces d’origine, de carburant et d’huiles, etc. = 5

 

Produire et soumettre un rapport mensuel le 20 de chaque mois = 5

Qualifications : Études/Connaissances/Compétences techniques et expérience

Les éléments suivants peuvent être acquis grâce à une combinaison d’éducation formelle ou d’auto-éducation, d’expérience antérieure ou de formation en cours d’emploi :

  • Qualification minimale requise : Formulaire quatre avec un permis de conduire valide de classe C
  • Expérience : 3 ans de conduite en classe C
  • Préféré: Permis de conduire avec certificat de formation auto-école
  • Compétences et capacités techniques:
  • Capacité à communiquer en anglais et bonne maîtrise du kiswahili
  • Capacité d’entretenir des relations de travail efficaces avec tous les niveaux du personnel
  • Compétences de base en mécanique de véhicule

POSTE 2 : Food Security and Livelihoods Officer

Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in the development of DRC Response strategy, operating model and implementation

Lead, manage, supervise and monitor sectoral food security and Livelihoods projects and staff to meet project objectives. Oversee periodic technical reviews and manage changes in projects direction and focus. Provide supervision to the Food security and livelihood assistant Officer.

Contribute to the increase of WV DRC funding portfolio by actively seeking and acquiring new funding for Livelihoods & food security.

Ensure proposals are prepared to a high quality and in alignment with required donor formats and standards.

Ensure integration of project interventions with other DRC Response programs activities and deliver quality training on good agronomical practices and technical assistance to Programs/projects staff, implementing partners and communities.

Support and coordinate field and market assessments to collect data for inclusion in proposals.

Make continuous analysis of rapidly changing external context, ensuring that lessons of sound practices are well documented and disseminated.

Represent DRC Response in technical forums and coordination meetings with the appropriated ministries, clusters and others partners as required.

Ensure strong linkages are built between World Vision, partners and relevant Government authorities at provincial and local levels.

Participate in all internal meetings to ensure appropriate integration and information sharing.

Coordinate the development, dissemination and promotion of good agricultural practices (GAP) approach, adoption/adaptation of relevant standards and tools

Liaise with relevant regional and Zonal technical staff to ensure appropriate and timely technical assistance is provided to achieve project goals.

Provide technical support to improve the abilities of field staff to address Livelihoods & food security issues through continuous consultation, training materials, and information sharing.

Provide advice to senior management on emerging issues regarding Livelihoods & food security.

Directly responsible for managing and supervising the implementation of Tanganyika Food Security project including the critical aspects of beneficiary identification and registration, distribution planning and distributions, reporting and monitoring and evaluation.

Liaise with the Food & Cash Assistance Manager to ensure project reports are timely shared with WV Taiwan and Disaster Management Team.

Manage the relationship between WC DRC & WV Taiwan; liaising and coordinating to ensure project is implemented in strict adherence to Donor rules and regulations.

Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Food and cash Assistance Manager and base manager.

Ensure the spiritual well-being of Christian staff members.

Foster a framework for the development and practice of interfaith initiatives amongst staff.

 

Minimum education, training, and experience requirements to qualify for the position:

List academic requirements (if applicable),, technical skills, or other knowledge required as a minimum qualification for this position.

  • The incumbent must have a first Degree in Agriculture, Livestock, Agriculture Economics or similar from an accredited University is required with 3 years’ experiences or a diploma in Agronomy/Agriculture with over 5 years’ practical experience.
  • The candidate MUST be able to ride a motor cycle with a valid riding license.
  • Professional with demonstrated capacity for high level representational work and record of excellent teamwork.
  • At least 3 years’ experience coordinating livelihood, food security cluster involving coalitions and partnerships, including with INGOs and Government
  • Previous experience managing programming in complex emergencies and/or fragile context as well as ability to manage teams.
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities with demonstrated budget management ability.
  • Relevant work experience in VSLA, cash and vouchers transfers, livestock and nutrition, women’s economic empowerment- related fields.
  • Strong understanding of the international humanitarian community, preferably experience working with/in coalitions of other INGOs and the UN.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders from various institutional arrangements; local NGOs, INGOs, faith-based organizations, political and government institutions.
  • Have basic training on cash and vouchers programming including practical experience in implementing cash and vouchers.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in both French and English

  • Computer literate and well-versed in basic software (Word, Internet Explorer, Excel, etc);
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse staff and partners.
  • Committed and enthusiastic for World Vision’s aims and mission;
  • Confident and organized self-starter who can handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, take initiative and is able to respond rapidly and effectively to new opportunities
  • Experience in capacity building and training of local staff
  • Willingness to participate in chapel and group devotions; and
  • Commitment to WV Core Values and Mission Statement
  • SAINT certified or other equivalent security training
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with computer proficiency
  • Ensures gender perspective in the scope of work.

  • The position is field based up-to 80% of the time, and requires ability and willingness to travel locally and integrate well with the hosting community.
