Job Title: Resource Mobilization Specialist
Department: Program
Reports To: Country Director
Summary :
The Resource Mobilization Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds for the organization’s programs and initiatives. This includes identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, writing grant proposals, and managing donor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the international development sector and a proven track record of success in fundraising.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors
- Write grant proposals
- Manage donor relationships
- Report on fundraising activities to the Director of program
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in International Development, Public Policy, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in the international development sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Eglish and french
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
