OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
Sous la supervision directe du Representant de l’OMS et en collaboration avec les autorites nationales, le titulaire developpera a partir d’une analyse de situation programmatique de la Sante de la Reproduction (SR), de survie de l’enfant et de la nutrition. Il fournira un appui technique a la programmation, a la planification, a la mise en œuvre au suivi et l’evaluation des programmes nationaux de SR/SE/NUT. Il travaillera en harmonie avec les cadres nationaux et developpera des relations efficaces avec les partenaires, les membres de l’equipe pays et l’ensemble de l’Organisation. Il est tenu de suivre les directives etablies dans le Programme General de Travail de l’OMS, les Resolutions de l’Assemblee Mondiale de la Sante, le Comite Regional de l’OMS pour l’Afrique, le Manuel de l’OMS et le Reglement du personnel.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Servir de point focal et d’agent de liaison avec le Ministere de la Sante pour la mise en œuvre des strategies mondiales et regionales en matiere de SR y compris les adolescents et les personnes du 3eme ages ;2. Assister le pays dans la planification des activites relatives a la Sante de la reproduction, sante de l’enfant et la nutrition en collaboration avec les autres organismes impliques dans ces domaines;3. Faciliter une approche integree dans les services de Sante de la reproduction, planification familiale, sante de l’enfant et la nutrition delivres a tous les niveaux du systeme de sante dans le cadre du processus de developpement des soins de sante primaires (SSP) ;4. Organiser en collaboration avec le Ministere de la Sante, des rencontres et des ateliers/seminaires pour le renforcement de la gestion des services de SR/SE/NUT au niveau central, regional et district ;5. Cooperer avec les autres programmes connexes (PCIME, Paludisme, VIH/Sida, PEV, lutte contre les maladies diarrheiques, ….) dans le but d’ameliorer les indicateurs de sante maternelle ;6. Initier/appuyer la recherche operationnelle en matiere de sante sexuelle et reproductive y compris au niveau communautaire ;7. Suivre les indicateurs relatifs a la maternite sans risque, a la survie de l’enfant, a la sante des adolescents et a la nutrition ;8. Appuyer le Ministere de la Sante dans la planification (ou la mise en œuvre d’un programme nutritionnel et therapeutique supplementaire et las l’assistance en Sante de la Reproduction a l’intention de la population vulnerable (jeunes enfants, femmes enceintes/allaitantes et adolescents) ;9. Fournir un appui a la formation continue pour preparer le personnel medical et paramedical a de nouvelles responsabilites en matiere de soins infirmiers/obstetricaux d’urgence et encourager la participation du personnel a la formulation de ces politiques ;10. Appuyer techniquement les activites de reporting des differentes activites et fournir des documents;11. Rediger les rapports mensuels des differentes activites; 12. Preparer les briefings pour le Representant de l’OMS; 13. Participer a toutes autres taches confiees par le Representant.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: Diplome de Docteur en medecine
Desirable: Diplome post universitaire en Sante publique ou Gynecologie/Obstetrique ou Pediatrie
Experience
Essential: Au moins cinq annees d’experience dans la planification, l’execution, le suivi et l’evaluation des programmes de SMT/PF au niveau national
Desirable: Au moins3 annees d’experience professionnelle en matiere de cooperation avec les organisations bilaterales et multilaterales.
Skills
Bonne connaissance de la gestion des programme de sante de la mere et de l’enfant /Planifie de la planification de la sante de la reproduction.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at XAF 36,835,524 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
En collaboration avec les autorites nationaux, planifier, surveiller, mettre en œuvre le programme de lutte integree contre les maladies transmissibles, notamment celles a potentiel epidemique.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Assurer la planification, la mise en œuvre, la surveillance continue et l’evaluation du programme de lutte contre les maladies, en particulier celles qui constituent de serieux problemes de sante publique dans l’optique des responsables nationaux et l’OMS ;2. Assurer l’introduction d’une approche integree dans la lutte contre les maladies dans le cadre des soins de sante primaires au niveau du district en mettant un accent particulier aux activites de niveau communautaires, aussi bien en matiere de prevention que de prise en charge therapeutique ;3. Assurer la mise en place d’un systeme de surveillance epidemiologique des maladies transmissibles, oriente vers la lutte contre la maladie, ainsi que la notification correcte et reguliere des maladies transmissibles, notamment celles a potentiels epidemiologique, y compris l’etablissement et la mise a jour reguliere des tendances nationales de ces maladies ;4. Appuyer la formation des personnels de sante en epidemiologie des maladies transmissibles ;5. Appuyer la promotion de la recherche operationnelle sur les divers aspects de lutte contre la maladie ;6. Assurer la mise en place d’un systeme operationnel de surveillance continue, d’evaluation des programmes de lutte contre la maladie ;7. Assurer le briefing de l’Equipe nationale et proposer le calendrier des principales activites.8. Superviser la preparation et la tenue des reunions, ateliers et consultations ou toute autre activite.9. Appuyer techniquement les activites de reporting des differentes activites et fournir des documents.10. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: Diplome de doctorat en medecine avec specialisation en epidemiologie ou en sante publique
Desirable: Bonne connaissance de la gestion et de la planification de lutte contre les maladies transmissibles.
Experience
Essential: Cinq annees d’experience professionnelle dans la gestion des programmes de prestation des services de sante
Desirable: La connaissance de l’OMS et l’experience au sein d’une organisation non gouvernementale internationale
Skills
