POSTE 1 : Driver

International Alert is currently looking for a driver to support office operations for International Alert offices. The driver will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely travel for authorized personnel, as well as ensuring that the minimum maintenance requirements for project vehicle assigned are adhered to as per Alert procedures. He/she will also ensure routine preventative maintenance schedules for the vehicles is completed on time.
The driver is expected to perform the below duties:
- Ensure provision of reliable and secure driving services by driving office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel to approved locations.
- Maintains an accurate log of all vehicle movement, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with Alert policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper day-to day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing etc.
- Ensure Supervisor is kept abreast of all routine maintenance and repair needs for the vehicle.
- Ensure vehicles are driven safely and in line with Alert’s procedures.
- Keep the interior and exterior of the official vehicle clean at all times.
- Ensure passengers adhere to all road safety regulations.
- Assist with general office support duties related to delivery/collection of mail, documents and other related goods and supplies under the authorization of the supervisor.

POSTE 2 : Finance Officer (2 Positions)
- Contract duration: 12 Months
- Location: Kaduna/Zamfara/Benue/Sokoto, Nigeria

International Alert is currently looking for 2 Finance Officers to handle all aspects of financial, operational and administrative management of Alert’s office in the assigned region.
The Finance Officer will:
- Manage the finance, administration and operations procedures
- Supervise and manage the performance of relevant staff
- Support other sub-offices in financial and operational matters.
- Other relevant tasks as required by the line manager
Manage the finance, administration and Operations procedures of Alert offices
- Ensure total compliance with Alert policies, donor regulations, and national law in all finance, administration processes
- Prepare fund requests for Alert office running costs and service providers in a timely manner
- Review all staff activity and travel expenditure requests and advance retirements for processing
- Maintain the petty cash of the office assigned.
Supervise and Manage performance of office staff
- Line manage staff under supervision, in line with Alert’s performance management policy (PMP).
- Ensure the work of the staff under supervision is conducted with quality and in compliance by ensuring adequate onboarding and coaching
- Develop capacity building plan for supervisees.
Support other sub-offices in financial and operational matters
- Liaise with suppliers/service providers in the region to support procurement and operational processes for Alert office
- Organise logistical arrangements for staff travelling interstates for official purposes
- Review, approve and support procurement processes within level of authority (see Finance and Procurement manuals)
- Conduct audits and spot-checks of implementing partners

POSTE 3 : Senior Regional Programme Officer – West Africa (National Contract)
