Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), une société anonyme, a été créée en tant que société holding bancaire en 1985 dans le cadre d’une initiative du secteur privé menée par la Fédération des chambres de commerce et d’industrie de l’Afrique de l’Ouest avec le soutien de la Communauté économique de l’Afrique de l’Ouest États-Unis (CEDEAO). Au début des années 1980, les banques étrangères et publiques dominaient le secteur bancaire en Afrique de l’Ouest. Les banques commerciales d’Afrique de l’Ouest détenues et gérées par le secteur privé africain étaient rares. Ses fondateurs ont créé ETI dans le but de combler ce vide. La Fédération des chambres de commerce d’Afrique de l’Ouest a promu et lancé un projet de création d’une institution bancaire régionale privée en Afrique de l’Ouest. En 1984, Ecopromotions SA est constituée. Ses actionnaires fondateurs ont levé des capitaux d’amorçage pour les études de faisabilité et les activités de promotion menant à la création d’ETI.

POSTE 1 : Analyst, Digital Sales

Job Description

GENERAL JOB INFORMATION

Reports to : Manager, Growth & Sales Analytics

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to lead the analysis of data sets, resulting in the digital acquisition customers at scale, leveraging internal and external sources, and driving Ecobank’s digital sales, product uptake and channel adoption

JOB CONTEXT

This role reports directly to the Head, Digital Sales & Engagement and is crucial to achieving the business objectives of the Consumer Bank.

There will be two key initial priorities for the role: (a) acting as a data champion for the team by gaining deep knowledge of what is available and possible (both internally and externally), and surfacing opportunities to integrate analytical and research-based data sources to provide a more holistic view of customers and prospects, and (b) using analytical approaches to build our understanding of different customer groups and their transaction patterns within Consumer Bank

The role is responsible for providing analysis, leading to data driven digital sales efforts in Consumer Bank business. This includes:

Analysing internal and external data sets to determine opportunities for customer acquisition and client engagement
Acting as a trusted partner to the Product, Segment and Regional Heads in Consumer Bank

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Financial performance

Conduct data mining and analysis, solving growth problems by leveraging data
Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing
Perform ad-hoc, deep dive analyses; helping identify growth opportunities
Develop in-depth knowledge of data sources, including identifying opportunities to improve and expand these
Provide behavioural insights for different customer groups, addressing critical topics such as acquisition, transacting activities and retention
Customer Excellence

Maintain excellent communication with external and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery on objectives
Build a strong formal and informal network to gain access to necessary data, resources and information to achieve the goals of Digital Sales and Engagement
Monitor Service Level Agreements and ensure effective delivery of services to both internal and external customers.
Leadership and people management

Provide feedback to support internal and external partners e.g. Technology, Marketing, telcos etc
Drive a culture of analytical rigour and data-driven decision making in Consumer Bank
Process controls and operational excellence

Liaise with Product managers to monitor effectiveness of data or reports provided in driving business, taking corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure compliance to any legal and regulatory requirements as well as governance directives arising in the course of work.
Comply with all Consumer Bank’s policies and procedures.
Strategic initiatives

Lead strategic initiatives that will create business growth.
Co-develop game changing initiatives in line with the Consumer Bank Digital Strategy

JOB PROFILE

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Management
5 Plus years’ experience in an analytics environment solving real business problems
Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, and Excel
Demonstrated experience in executing presentations of technical and business level data
Knowledge and familiarity with Tableau is a plus
Proven experience with R, SAS, SPSS, predictive modelling and statistical packages a plus
Proven ability to synthesize analytics and research results into clear insights, and to deliver actionable recommendations.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to promote Ecobank’s products and channels by developing copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. S/he will create both written, verbal, video, and other media for both individual and public consumption.

JOB CONTEXT

This role reports directly to the Head, Digital Sales & Engagement and is crucial to achieving the business objectives of the Consumer Banking business at Ecobank Nigeria.

The priority of the content creator is to produce high-quality outputs to engage prospective customers of Ecobank via digital channels. The content creator will update existing material, generate original work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. S/he will adhere to brand guidelines while finding new styles for expressing our messages. The content creator focuses on appealing to consumers’ interests by creating engaging material. Ultimately, an exceptional content creator will promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our company’s outputs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Financial performance

Developing content that captivates, informs, delights and persuades along the customer journey
Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about prospective customer, and then creating compelling narratives to drive business
Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to exponentially scale up the acquisition of customers via digital channels such as the Xpress Point App, and drive engagement to increase digital sales, product uptake and channel adoption.

CONTEXT

The Growth & Sales Analytics Lead is responsible for creating a pipeline of viable prospective customers and converting them into valuable clients. S/he will design, implement, and analyse campaigns to attract, inform, and convert future customers across all stages of their journey. The role works to find the right channels for reaching our target customers. The role is responsible for developing and executing a strategy to increase brand awareness through organic search and content channels, drive customer acquisition, improve conversion rate, and drive product adoption within Consumer Bank.

This position is responsible for implementation and execution of the digital sales strategy, last-mile delivery of our products and services, revenue generation, efficiency improvement and overall digital sales excellence

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION

Build and own the company’s growth strategy in collaboration with Consumer Bank’s leadership team
Develop a deep understanding of our (prospective) users and their motivations
BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

Report, maintain and forecast all business metric results including customer growth, retention, recurring revenue, engagement, NPS, and margin
Manage, track and analyse key metrics to monitor customer acquisition, revenue/brand performance/engagement , customer retention and create strategies for improvement
Create new innovative ways of user acquisition and work to scale up each new method
Identify and prioritize growth experiments in pursuit of increased onboards and transactions

JOB PROFILE

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

6 years’ experience in B2C Marketing with exposure to both mass affluent and wealthy individuals
A strong understanding of marketing analytics and the ability to apply insights from this to optimize campaigns
Track record of being highly analytical and data driven
Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.
Strong growth track record, with samples and results of past campaigns.
Outstanding written, oral, and organizational ability
Proven experience in managing the end-to-end delivery of data-driven marketing and communications
Knowledge of relevant marketing tools/platforms for campaign activation
Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), growth marketing a plus
