About the role
The Finance Officer in Kindu is responsible for all financial, fiscal and administrative matters of the Kindu Office. S/He ensures Christian Aid Finance and Administrative policies are complied with at all times and donors’ requirements are adhered to. S/He is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting, including producing accounting, budget and financial forecasting. She/he will be responsible for accounting, budget planning; monitoring and financial reporting; supporting local partners in Maniema Province in finance management; assist and supervise Finance Assistant in Kindu to achieve his objectives.
About you
The incumbent should have a considerable experience in managing multi-donors funding programme, have good communication in French and English (Written and spoken); have excellent planning, time management and organizational abilities; competencies in capacity development of others.

• Accounting Qualifications (bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines).
• Knowledge of DRC Tax regulations and legal environment.
• At Least Two Years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with an International NGO
• Familiarity with donors (UN, DFID, EU) processes and requirements

• Good communication in French and English (Written and spoken)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small close-knit team.
