Your mission
In light of the relaunch of Burkina Faso Brussels Airlines outstation, we are looking for a Sales Executive to support new business opportunities and strengthen historical partnerships by promoting Brussels Airlines products and fares locally.

Key Result Areas
Key result area 1: business development
Acquisition of new relations and maintain commercial relationship with trade partners (travel agencies) as well as corporate customers in order to meet sales objectives and develop product awareness.
- Contract and manage the assigned customer portfolio in order to develop a long-term commercial relationship and maximize sales revenues.
- Identify new business opportunities in assigned segments to further develop own client portfolio (new accounts).
- Prospecting new customers, finding new sales leads/business opportunities in order to grow sales revenues.
- Customer hunting via cold calling and physical visits.
Key result area 2: B2B local sales promotion
- Represent the company at external events when needed (fair, sales promotional actions, marketing activities with travel industry partners and corporate, sales blitz, corporate product presentations, etc.) in order to strengthen the company’s visibility in the market.
- Develop marketing material in collaboration with HQ (eg newsletters)
- Organize local sales-promotion activities to support the global and local sales strategy respecting budget, timeline and tools at disposal (g. eXperts newsletter and promotions, acquisition of new eXperts participants, PPB newsletter and promotions)
- Build and maintain a network that supports the activities of Brussels Airlines.
Key result area 3: Sales & ticketing
- Ticketing and sales activities with the passengers in order to make reservations, issue tickets and give out general service information in an efficient and autonomous way (city check in offices and airport check in offices).
Key result area 4 : Customer Relations Management
- Ensure proper follow-up and monitoring of customer portfolio performance and maintain the CRM database according to the company rules, enabling correct account information at all times.
- Master and maintain a vast knowledge of client’s business, competition and the latest industry news.
- Monitor continuously the needs of the customer.
- Propose concrete actions to use this information in the benefit of Brussels Airlines revenues.
- Gather & analyse data and capitalizing on them using company tools.
Required experience and skills
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Sales, Economics or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Travel & Tourism industry experience an asset
- Languages: French and English, written and spoken.
- Computer skills (MS office)
- Solid and proven commercial experience and results achievements
- Amadeus GDS is an asset
- Ability to work in a virtual & international environment
- Resilient and able to work under pressure and to manage diverse tasks at same time
- Commercial orientation with hunter and farmer attitude
- Strong communications skills with excellent interactions and convincing skills
- Knowledge of Brussels Airlines products
- Analytical skills
- Overall knowledge of the booking – ticketing – settlement process of air documents and also the tarification.
- Flexible and ready to participate to events even if outside the normal working hours
