L’unité des opérations du programme de Nutrition International est chargée d’assurer la prestation efficace et efficiente des interventions du programme de base de Nutrition International, y compris le développement du programme, la conception, la planification, la mise en œuvre, le suivi et les rapports, et la gestion des subventions, y compris l’établissement de la planification opérationnelle annuelle, la budgétisation et les processus de révision. L’unité est composée d’une équipe mondiale de professionnels situés dans nos 10 principaux pays d’Asie, d’Afrique et à notre siège social à Ottawa, Canada. Nutrition International est à la recherche de candidatures pour le poste d’assistant(e) aux finances et à l’administration des programmes.
About you
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields from a recognized University or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
You will also have 3 years’ experience working in accounting and/or finance, 3 years’ experience working in project office administration, Experience working with the Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Experience working with database is considered an asset
About the role
In this role you will be:
Assist the Finance and Administration Officer to prepare the annual budgets and expenditure forecasts for the zonal office operations and ensure that spending is within approved budget
Manage the process of purchasing of office equipment and supplies as per NI procurement guidelines and delegated authority
Make payments for all approved zonal office operations on time and accurately
Manage office petty cash including keeping petty cash transaction records up to date
Prepare regular cash flows projections based on approved budgets and request cash advances from the PINGS main office
Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure appropriate coding/allocations
Assist the Finance and Administration Officer in managing service providers by drafting administrative agreements and ensuring that services are provided as per the requirements of the service agreement
Make the appropriate travel arrangements and assist all zonal office staff in the preparation of travel expense reports, as required
Assist in the organizational and logistical arrangements for all meetings and workshops
Collect monthly activity sheets for all zonal office staff and submit to the PINGS main office
Provide any required general office administrative services such as faxing, scanning, printing, photocopying, and filing
Maintain inventories of all office fixed assets, office equipment and supplies and ensure that equipment and fixed assets are insured, properly maintained and damages and losses reported in a timely manner
